Corporate battles: Big biz takes on the little guys

Legal battles over the right to a corporate name almost always have a David and Goliath storyline. Frequently they feature a mighty corporation dispatching its legal team to a relatively obscure place like Elizabethtown, Ky. (home of a store called "Victor's Little Secret"), or Astoria, Ore. (where a woman named Sam Buck once ran her own coffee shop, Sam Buck's), for a dramatic showdown. When the smaller business fights back, the whole world pays attention.

Here, we look at nine companies that have been entangled in bitter legal battles over corporate titles.
